A language graduate from Durham University, Kati worked for over a decade in events, marketing, PR and communications in a variety of industries. During that time, employers included Christie’s Fine Art Auctioneers, United Artists Programming, Copyright Promotions Licensing Group and Media Communications Limited.
Having always enjoyed the event side of her work, Kati decided to go solo as an event organiser and established KP Events in 1998.
Kati is highly organised, efficient and extremely personable – qualities that are of course vital in this industry. Her informal though professional approach to suppliers and clients, whether private or corporate, makes her a pleasure to work with and ensures that the entire event planning experience is a positive one for all involved. The confidence she instills in people enables them to step back a pace or two and enjoy their own events in the knowledge that absolutely everything is well in hand.
Kati lives in North London with her two lovely children and her husband – KP Events’ fellow director Mish. Outside of work and family life, she manages to find time to indulge in her favourite pastimes: munching through novels and playing the piano. She also chairs the Staff and Parents' Association at her son's school.
