21st Birthday Party – January 2006

brief

• To organise a 'Winter Wonderland' themed party in central London for 60 guests.
• To create a funky evening that really worked for the birthday girl and her guests, while also ensuring that the client (the parents) were also excited by the arrangements.

KP Events recommended a wonderful party venue, in a fireplace shop in central London called CVO Firevault. The shop has a bar and restaurant in the basement, which is adorned with magnificent fireplaces, all of which glowed throughout the evening. All the furniture and décor is white, perfect for a Winter Wonderland setting.

The venue was enhanced by clusters of ice-flake decorated balloons, fake snow and small potted conifers. On arrival, guests were greeted by an Ice Queen on stilts and served iced cocktails. Super-trendy bento box meals were a hit with the guests, and the venue was split into a DJ’d dance area with two relaxing chill zones to the side – each adorned with shisha pipes for guests to puff away on.
